Educational Leadership Development and Teacher Capacity Building
HCGI conducted research and discovered that some teachers are in the educational system simply because it seems to be the available job at the moment for them to earn a living. These teachers reluctantly accept the job without any passion to teach the students/children, resulting in reduced educational quality and limited student engagement. After conducting comprehensive research on teachers' motivations and challenges, HCGI willingly decided to sensitize such teachers and provide them with compelling reasons why the teaching profession is not just important to the students/children alone but also beneficial to them as educators.
This teacher sensitization program emphasizes that teaching provides opportunities for personal growth, professional development, and meaningful contribution to society. HCGI works to rekindle passion for education among teachers, helping them understand their crucial role in shaping future environmental leaders and climate advocates. The program demonstrates that effective climate education requires not only curriculum delivery but also motivated, passionate educators who can inspire students to become environmental stewards.
